These Terms of Use for online services apply to the Kontakto online services of Kontakto Oy (hereinafter the Service Provider). In these Terms of Use, Kontakto online services mean all services under Kontakto Oy's kontakto.fi domain. These include e.g. this online service, interface (api.kontakto.fi). These terms and conditions apply to all Kontakto online services, unless otherwise stated or agreed for a Service. The user of the Kontakto online service (hereinafter referred to as the User) must accept these Terms of Use as self-binding in order to use the Service, whether the use of the Service requires registration or not.
By using the Kontakto online service, the User accepts these Terms of Use and declares to act in accordance with these Terms of Use, the applicable law and good practice. In this case, a contract in accordance with these Terms of Use is created between the Service Provider and the User.
The user is both the person using these websites and the Company subscribing to the Kontakto interface service. Subscribing to the interface service is only possible for entities with a business ID.
By using the Kontakto online service, the User accepts these Terms of Use and declares to act in accordance with these Terms of Use, the applicable law and good practice. In this case, a contract in accordance with these Terms of Use is created between the Service Provider and the User.
The company subscribing to the Kontakto interface service accepts these terms of use when subscribing to the Kontakto interface service. Subscription is possible with the currently valid payment methods.
The Service Provider strives to ensure that its Services are as high-level and reliable as possible. The Service Provider develops the Service all the time and has the right to change the Service and its content as part of its normal operations. The Service Provider also has the right to stop providing the Service at any time. This will be announced in the Service's information channels well before the Service is closed.
The service has both free and paid parts. Regarding Paid Services, the chargeability is always announced before the right to use the Paid Service is granted. All pricing is valid for the time being and the right to change pricing is reserved.
The service uses information from public data sources. The information obtained from the service may not be used in any way against the law.
The Service Provider will do its best to ensure that the Service is available continuously and without interruption. However, the Service Provider is not responsible for changes or loss of data caused by the Service's data or the technical operation of the service, nor for data communication (or similar) problems, disturbances or interruptions caused by third parties. In the event of a possible failure, the Service Provider is not responsible for indirect damages, and as compensation for service interruptions, the Service Provider will reimburse a maximum of two (2) months of payment related to the order.
The information content of the service is mainly public data. The information provided by the service may not be forwarded as such, but the purpose of the interface is to enable the production of services derived from it. Information obtained from the interface may not be used to produce mass marketing services. The User has the right to use information obtained from the Service through automatic systems only if the User has a valid subscription to the Kontakto online services.
The user provides the Service at the time of subscribing:
The Service stores the information provided by the User in the Service Provider's database. Information is not disclosed to third parties.
The service provider provides the user with the identification data of the interface (api key) at the time of subscribing. Identification information can only be obtained and used while the subscription is valid. The identification information provided to the User (Company) is Company-specific. The interface key may be used to retrieve company information only for the use of the company in whose name the subscription has been placed. The user themself takes care of storing their interface key safely. If the interface key is lost or comes into the knowledge or possession of outsiders, the User must notify the Service Provider immediately.
For its Service, the Service Provider stores information about the use of the Company-specific interface key and related technical information.
The user is aware that the online environment and online services are never completely secure. The user is responsible for properly managing the data security of their own information systems. The Service Provider will keep all information about or sent by the User confidential. The Service Provider organizes the information security of its Service in a generally acceptable and efficient manner and strives to prevent unauthorized access to its information systems with appropriate technical solutions. However, the service provider cannot guarantee complete information security.
The user is responsible for acquiring the devices, software and network connections required to use the Service, their functionality and the costs caused by them. They must not cause interference or other harm to the Service or other network users.
The User is obliged to compensate the Service Provider for damages caused by illegal use or use contrary to these terms of use, possible service-specific terms or the service contract. The Service Provider is not obliged to compensate the User for damages that may arise from the use of the Service. The user is responsible for all requirements and costs arising from or related to the use of the Service, such as phone or telecommunications fees. The User is obliged, at the request of the Service Provider, to return such funds that the User has received in his account due to an error or otherwise without rights.
Force majeure releases the Service Provider from obligations related to the Service, if it prevents or unreasonably hinders the performance of the Service. A force majeure is considered to be a fire, earthquake, flood, explosion, strike or other work stoppage, an order of the authority, disruptions in the supply of energy, shortage of raw materials or supplies, a cable or other telecommunication disruption caused by an outsider, or any other similar reason that was not known and to which could not reasonably have been prepared in advance. The Service Provider reports the force majeure on the Service's website immediately after it has occurred.
These Terms of Use apply to all Services maintained by the Service Provider, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the contracting parties. The service provider is entitled to change these Terms of Use and possible service-specific conditions. The Service Provider has the right to unilaterally change the terms of this agreement by notifying the User in writing or via the Service (in connection with the terms of use). The changes will take effect immediately. By continuing to use the Service, the User accepts the changed terms and undertakes to comply with them.
The User does not have the right to transfer the right to use the Service or any contract concluded about the Service to a third party without the written consent of the Service Provider. The service provider has the right to transfer the contract to a third party. The agreement between the User and the Service Provider in accordance with these Terms of Use is valid until further notice. Both parties may at any time terminate this agreement immediately upon receipt of notice of termination by the other party. Termination terminates the User's right to use the Service. The user is responsible for all his responsibilities and obligations under this agreement until the termination takes effect.
Disagreements based on these Terms of Use or related to the service referred to in these terms and the contract arising from the Service will primarily be resolved through negotiations between the contracting parties. If this is not successful, the disputes will be resolved in the first instance in the district court of Central Finland.
Finnish law applies to these Terms of Use and the Service referred to in these terms and the contract arising from the Service.
The service uses cookies to guarantee a better user experience. By using the Service, the User accepts the storage of cookies on the User's device. The Service Provider has the right to monitor the User's internet behavior within the Service and utilize the obtained research results. However, the studies are always carried out in such a way that the results of no individual User are monitored or published. The Service Provider can use the information provided by the User in marketing cooperation with third parties.
If necessary, the Service Provider can assist the police and other authorities in investigating possible abuses by handing over the User's information to them, if necessary, to the extent that they are known to the Service Provider.
