Mikä Kontakto-Bot on?

Kontakto-Bot on Kontakto Oy:n (Y-tunnus 2831767-5) verkkorobotti. Se käy suomalaisten yritysten julkisilla verkkosivuilla ja kerää niiltä yrityksen perustietoja: yhteystiedot, Y-tunnuksen, sosiaalisen median linkit, toimialan ja tarjonnan kuvauksen sekä sivuston käyttämät tekniikat. Tiedot liitetään yrityksen tietoihin Kontakto-palvelussa.

Miten se toimii?

Se noudattaa sivuston robots.txt-tiedostoa.
Yhdellä käynnillä se hakee etusivun ja enintään viisi sivua, joilla yrityksen tiedot yleensä ovat (yhteystiedot, yritys, tiimi).
Se tekee yhden pyynnön kerrallaan, vähintään sekunnin välein, tai sivuston Crawl-delay-arvon mukaan.
Se käy samalla sivustolla yleensä 2–3 kuukauden välein.
Jos sivusto torjuu botteja (vastaus 401, 403 tai 429, tai botintorjunnan tarkistussivu), se lopettaa heti eikä palaa sivustolle.
Se ei täytä lomakkeita, kirjaudu sisään eikä lataa kuvia tai muita tiedostoja.

Robotin estäminen

Voit estää Kontakto-Botin lisäämällä sivustosi robots.txt-tiedostoon:

Muutos tulee voimaan seuraavalla käynnillä, ja sen jälkeen botti ei palaa sivustolle.

What is Kontakto-Bot?

Kontakto-Bot is the web crawler of Kontakto Oy (business ID 2831767-5). It visits the public websites of Finnish companies and collects basic company information: contact details, the business ID, social media links, a description of the business and what it offers, and the technologies the site uses. The information is added to the company's details in the Kontakto service.

It follows your site's robots.txt.
One visit fetches the home page and at most five pages where company details usually are (contact, about, team).
One request at a time, at least a second apart, or slower if your site sets a Crawl-delay.
It usually visits a site once every 2–3 months.
If your site turns bots away (a 401, 403 or 429 response, or a bot protection challenge), it stops at once and does not come back.
It does not fill in forms, log in, or download images or other files.

It identifies itself with the User-Agent above and connects from the IP addresses listed above. To block it, add the lines above to your robots.txt. Questions and removal requests: support@kontakto.fi.
